[TEST] SSDNODES - A SIMPLE TEST WITH SSDNODES VPS Writer: Tom 时间: 2021-03-20 分类: VPS,Recommended Comments  SSDNodes start in 2011, feature-rich hosting for anyone who wanted to express themselves on the web. Now they have nine dc in Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, Seattle, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Singapore, Tokyo. The performance of the VPS is excellent, whether it is disk IO or CPU are powerful. I'm glad to receive a test VPS from SSDNodes, so this article gives a simple evaluation of this VPS. ## Base Info ```bash CPU Model : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz CPU Cores : 8 Cores 2399.996 MHz x86_64 CPU Cache : 16384 KB OS : Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS (64 Bit) KVM Kernel : 5.4.0-48-generic Total Space : 315.4 GB Total RAM : 32116 MB Total SWAP : 0 MB / 0 MB TCP CC : cubic ASN & ISP : AS54540, HIVELOCITY, Inc. Organization : Strasmore, Inc. Test to read 20GB data.  ```bash fio Disk Speed Tests (Mixed R/W 50/50): --------------------------------- Block Size | 4k (IOPS) | 64k (IOPS) ------ | --- ---- | ---- ---- Read | 113.60 MB/s (28.4k) | 1.60 GB/s (25.0k) Write | 113.90 MB/s (28.4k) | 1.60 GB/s (25.1k) Total | 227.51 MB/s (56.8k) | 3.20 GB/s (50.1k) | | Block Size | 512k (IOPS) | 1m (IOPS) ------ | --- ---- | ---- ---- Read | 2.97 GB/s (5.8k) | 3.88 GB/s (3.7k) Write | 3.13 GB/s (6.1k) | 4.13 GB/s (4.0k) Total | 6.10 GB/s (11.9k) | 8.01 GB/s (7.8k) ``` ## MEMERY Test Try to apply for 20g memory, test once.   ## Install Test I try to install LNMP and takes 29 minutes, I'm satisfied with the speed.  ## Test Video I transcoded a video on the server. The code rate and other settings are default. The original video and transcoding results are shown in the link below. http://63.250.55.130/test/original.mp4 http://63.250.55.130/test/output_4k.mp4 http://63.250.55.130/test/output_1080p.mp4 http://63.250.55.130/test/output_720p.mp4 http://63.250.55.130/test/output_480p.mp4 ## UNIX Benchmarks I run UNIX bench get the CPU score, although there are differences in the configuration, I still compare the CPU performance. The SSDNODES result performance is relatively good, at least for the current price, the performance price ratio is relatively high. For specific scores, refer to the running score test given below, which are SSDNODES 8vCPU32G, SSDNODES 1vCPU4G, Vultr High Frequency 1vCPU1GB, Vultr cloud compute 1vCPU1GB, Vultr cloud compute 6vCPU16GB, Linode Nano 1vCPU1GB and Linode 8vCPU32GB. **UNIX BENCH result of SSDNODES - 8vCPU32GB RAM.** ```bash System: vpsname: GNU/Linux OS: GNU/Linux -- 5.4.0-48-generic -- #52-Ubuntu SMP Thu Sep 10 10:58:49 UTC 2020 Machine: x86_64 (x86_64) Language: en_US.utf8 (charmap="ANSI_X3.4-1968", collate="ANSI_X3.4-1968") CPU 0: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz (4800.0 bogomips) x86-64, MMX, Physical Address Ext, SYSENTER/SYSEXIT, SYSCALL/SYSRET, Intel virtualization CPU 1: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz (4800.0 bogomips) x86-64, MMX, Physical Address Ext, SYSENTER/SYSEXIT, SYSCALL/SYSRET, Intel virtualization CPU 2: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz (4800.0 bogomips) x86-64, MMX, Physical Address Ext, SYSENTER/SYSEXIT, SYSCALL/SYSRET, Intel virtualization CPU 3: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz (4800.0 bogomips) x86-64, MMX, Physical Address Ext, SYSENTER/SYSEXIT, SYSCALL/SYSRET, Intel virtualization CPU 4: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz (4800.0 bogomips) x86-64, MMX, Physical Address Ext, SYSENTER/SYSEXIT, SYSCALL/SYSRET, Intel virtualization CPU 5: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz (4800.0 bogomips) x86-64, MMX, Physical Address Ext, SYSENTER/SYSEXIT, SYSCALL/SYSRET, Intel virtualization CPU 6: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz (4800.0 bogomips) x86-64, MMX, Physical Address Ext, SYSENTER/SYSEXIT, SYSCALL/SYSRET, Intel virtualization CPU 7: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz (4800.0 bogomips) x86-64, MMX, Physical Address Ext, SYSENTER/SYSEXIT, SYSCALL/SYSRET, Intel virtualization 23:05:52 up 1 day, 4:26, 1 user, load average: 0.08, 0.02, 0.17;
